Opinions? Some criticism is that this relates to building the Kingdom of Man instead of the Kingdom of God. Not sure I'd go that far.

Yeah, I am not sure I could go so far as to say that this is about building up the "Kingdom of Man" but it certainly borders on the whole liberation theology (possibly a passive extreme).
I do agree that we need to seek justice through seeking first His kingdom.
